First Partition Walls in Habitat Home

Some amazing progress this last two weeks:

The lower level floor was pumped and finished

The geothermal lines were dug and place. The main floors windows and door frames started to materialize Best of all we started the partition walls in the lower level. Thanks to all the volunteers and those that stayed late to insure the integrity of the stud walls. Thanks also to the Knights of Columbus from St. Francis Church for providing a great lunch served by our hostess Linda. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support. This coming Saturday, weather permitting, we will be installing the remaining floor joists and main level sub flooring. If you can make it, please come and join us this week. We work from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No tools are needed and lunch is provided. You must be 17 to work in construction at the site. The home is located in Jefferson off Highway 88. From Jefferson take West Main (Highway 88) to McFarland Publishing. Turn right on Hickory Hill Road and a left on West Hickory Hill. The site is over the top of the hill.
