Habitat for Humanity volunteers often hear the question, “Does Ashe County have a Restore?” Restores are those great Habitat stores that sell new and recycled building materials—doors, windows, paint, appliances—at great prices. There is not one in our county yet, but there will be a Restore for a day coming soon! On Saturday October 13th, Ashe County Habitat for Humanity will hold a Habitat ReSale. There will be furniture, windows, doors, paint, SIP panels, tools, and many other items for sale. Plan to shop for bargains rain or shine because the sale will be indoors at Jefferson Station from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm.
Habitat will be accepting additional items as donations for the sale at Jefferson Station on October 10, 11 and 12 from 3:00-6:00 pm. Donation receipts will be provided. Items will be accepted at Jefferson Station inside the main entrance on Hice Avenue. We need to limit the sale to building supplies, appliances and furniture. No small household goods, books or clothing please. If you have questions, please e-mail info@ashehabitat.org or call 336-846-2525.
