Becky Dotson (Executive Director)
Becky brings a deep commitment to dignity and community‑driven solutions. She has a background in economics and international development and previously served as the economist responsible for national housing estimates at the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Becky has a passion for economic development and an understanding of the challenges facing affordable housing in Ashe County. Drawn to Habitat’s sweat‑equity model, she views her service as a calling to steward her abilities with integrity, humility, and prayerful wisdom.
JB Byrch (Construction Supervisor)
JB Byrch studied Building Science at Appalachian State University, is a licensed General contractor and has felt called to help people through construction since coming to faith as a teenager. He is passionate about what we do at Ashe Habitat and hopes to make your volunteer experience a meaningful one.
Kelyn Diamond (Operations Manager)
Kelyn Diamond serves as the Operations Manager at Ashe County Habitat for Humanity. Originally from Hickory, Kelyn holds a degree in English with a concentration in Professional Writing from Appalachian State University. With family roots in Ashe County, Kelyn is passionate about serving the local community, meeting new people, and building meaningful connections. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her pit bull, Dewey.
